and plant my flag triumphantly.<\/p>\n
to struggle into, topple over, move aside<\/p>\n
with cries of victory and then peaceful songs<\/p>\n
fistful of flowers to be replanted.<\/p>\n
smiles and wisps of laughter, a dance of joy<\/p>\n
and all from the pushing, the serious intent<\/p>\n
the inspired labour – the sweat, the explosions of energy<\/p>\n
the clearing of all hurdles \/ obstacles \/ enemies<\/p>\n
the trudging over bodies<\/p>\n
to establish an order and find a peace of mind.<\/p>\n
I’ll be filling the hallowed holes reserved for faith<\/p>\n
with might, discipline and<\/p>\n
a powerful display of intellect, of will, of power<\/p>\n
I will triumph with cannons, flags and trumpets blaring<\/p>\n
bells of joy and freedom and victory<\/p>\n
and then rest, a peaceful rest.<\/p>\n
