A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, \u2018Can I also sit like you and do nothing?\u2019\u00a0 The eagle answered: \u2018Sure, why not.\u2019 So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">Moral of the story:<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\"><strong><em>The Turkey\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>and the Bull<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">A turkey was chatting with a bull. \u2018I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree\u2019 sighed the turkey, \u2018but I haven\u2019 t got the energy.\u2019<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u2018Well, why don\u2019t you nibble on some of my droppings?\u2019 replied the bull. They\u2019re packed with nutrients.\u2019<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Moral of the story:<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won\u2019t keep you there.<\/em><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\"><em><strong>The Frozen Bird\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">A\u00a0little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.\u00a0 As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and quickly dug him out and ate him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\"><br \/>\n<em>Morals of the story:<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>(3) And when you\u2019re in deep shit, it\u2019s best to keep your mouth shut.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;\">(ed. \u2013 This is a repost, picked as one of our favourite three\u00a0posts of 2010, taken from earlier articles in this <\/span><em style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt;\">By George Journal<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;\">.
