Here are ten short observations on life from the legendary basketball coach. He was 89 when he gave this interview:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can do more good by being good than any other way.<\/li>\n<li>Be more concerned with your character than your reputation.<\/li>\n<li>If I am through learning, I am through.<\/li>\n<li>Discipline yourself and others won\u2019t need to.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t let making a living prevent you from making a life.<\/li>\n<li>I don\u2019t believe in praying to win.<\/li>\n<li>I had three rules for my players: No profanity. Don\u2019t criticize a teammate. Never be late.<\/li>\n<li>If a player\u2019s not doing the things he should, put him on the bench.
