There\u2019s deliberation and cursory reviews,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

some light criticism and cynical observations,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

and heaping servings of borrowed thoughts<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

(even some regurgitated pulp from <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

dated, unconnected ideas written years ago). \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

But no insightful pronouncements,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

no brilliance, no profundity. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Sorry, there\u2019s been no epiphany today. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

There\u2019s only scribbles and lifted quotes<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

dropped onto a page, tied together with phrases<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

arranged by a harried, unknowing magpie.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Here we have the results of a curious bird<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

flitting out every morning in search of<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

those prized musings to put the absurdity of <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

our human lot into some kind of appreciable order. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Supposedly, if you comb through this feathered nest <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

long enough, you will find a trinket or coloured stone<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

that will cause you to pause, delight your senses, or better: <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

provide you with a glimpse of the possible and the good.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n
