On the eve of Canada\u2019s federal budget address, here is a message from the Canadian Taxpayer Federation: <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The 2009 federal budget represented the largest spending increase in Canadian history, and the largest deficit ever recorded. Last year, the feds borrowed $153-million a day!\u00a0 \u00a0If taxpayers don\u2019t make their voices heard, we can be assured this year\u2019s budget will be equally reckless\u2026.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The message is real simple: we can\u2019t borrow our way into prosperity, Mr. Minister. We can\u2019t afford the inevitably higher taxes necessary to pay for this reckless path. Since coming to office in 2006, the Conservatives have increased the size of government 31%. Enough!
