{"id":9057,"date":"2017-02-07T07:42:30","date_gmt":"2017-02-07T12:42:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bygeorgejournal.ca\/?p=9057"},"modified":"2019-10-22T15:11:40","modified_gmt":"2019-10-22T19:11:40","slug":"president-trumps-health-care-package","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bygeorgejournal.ca\/?p=9057","title":{"rendered":"President Trump&#8217;s health care package"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>News Flash:<\/em>\u00a0 The American Medical Association has weighed in on Trump&#8217;s health care package:<\/p>\n<p>The Allergists were in favour of scratching it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make\u00a0any rash moves.<\/p>\n<p>The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it, but the Neurologists thought\u00a0the Administration had a lot of nerve.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Obstetricians felt certain everyone was labouring under a misconception, while\u00a0the Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted.<\/p>\n<p>Pathologists yelled, &#8220;Over my dead body!&#8221; while the Pediatricians said, &#8220;Oh, grow up!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see\u00a0right through it.<\/p>\n<p>Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing and the Internists claimed it\u00a0would indeed be a bitter pill to swallow.<\/p>\n<p>The Plastic Surgeons opined that this proposal would &#8220;put a whole new face on the matter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the\u00a0whole idea.<\/p>\n<p>Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas, and those lofty Cardiologists didn\u2019t have\u00a0the heart to say no.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>(Thank you to all who stuff our e-mailbox daily with jokes and articles.
