David Myles is a very entertaining Canadian crooner, who has some brilliant lyrics and a wonderful voice. His songs are thoughtful, engaging.
One of my favourite songs is from his latest album and it is called “Pair of Shoes.”
The chorus speaks of an eternal truth:
We all walk in a pair of shoes
We all hope that we bounce more than we bruise
It don’t matter how much you spend
It only matters in the end
That your soul don’t wear right through
This maritime singer has a terrific website and “Pair of Shoes” is one song that he offers his fans. You have to hear it to appreciate David Myles’ talent…
